Design Process
1. Capture the Vision
We will talk about your vision for the piece, the space where your unique sculpture will live, and as much as you know about the animal you want to portray.

2. Artistic Studies
My designs always begin with detailed research and illustrations to capture the natural details of the animal. For an additional fee, you can receive these beautiful concept sketches, which can become their own works of art.
3. Material Selection
We’ll work together to identify, harvest and shape the right tree (or trees) that meet the quality, size and color your piece calls for.
Then I will rough out the shape and confirm the final dimensions with you.
4. Creation
Finally, all our work comes together to create a once-in-a-lifetime object of art and natural beauty. Expect work-in-process pics and timeline updates throughout. You can even stop by the workshop to see it yourself!
